Hello everyone and welcome to our Wedding Gift Registry Page.

This is where, if you wish, you can contribute to helping us achieve the honeymoon of a life time. As we've said the only gift we require is our friends and family enjoying themselves on our special day. However, as a lot of you have expressed that you would like to give us a gift but are struggling because we already have everything we need in our home (we don't need another toaster, set of glasses or a towel bale) we have arranged for this page to be set up.

Of all the destinations in the world the one at the top of our "must visit list" is South Africa and so this is where we have chosen for our honeymoon. We just can't wait, we are soooooo excited.

Here's the plan:

On Sunday July 6th 2008 we fly from Newcastle to Cape Town via Amsterdam. It's a long 14hr flight but we are sure it will be worth it.

We will spend our first night in an airport hotel in Cape Town as the following morning we take a short flight to Port Elizabeth where we will be met by Colin or one of his team at NMBTours. We then take a short drive to the 5* Shamwari Private Game Reserve.

The Shamwari is one of the biggest and best private game reserves in South Africa and home to the Born Free Foundation.

During our 2 day stay we will take 4 game drives where we hope to see not only the big five (Rhino, Hippo, Lion, Buffalo and Elephant) but also Hyena, Leopard, Cheetah, Giraffe and Wild Dogs. We might see if we can smuggle a lion cub back as a play mate for Gucci. Ha ha ha!

On Wednesday 9th July 2008 we fly back to Cape Town and transfer to The Table Bay Hotel on the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

This hotel is one of the Top 10 in the world. We are staying here for 4 luxurious days. We hope to spend lots of time relaxing, shopping and sightseeing. While we are here Dan would also like to do a caged dive with great white sharks and as we believe it is whale watching season we may do some of this too, if we have time.

We arrive back in the UK on Monday 14th July 2008 . Back to reality!
